Gov polls: If they give money, collect but vote your candidate - President Buhari advices Nigerians as he casts his vote (photos)

President Buhari has reportedly suggested Nigerians to gather any cash given to them by politicians to affect their votes after which go forward to vote for his or her most well-liked candidate.

Vanguard stories that the President acknowledged this after he forged his vote at polling unit 003, Sarkin Yara A in Daura, Katsina State.

The president, who briefly spoke to newsmen each in English and Hausa languages after casting his vote, mentioned his administration had been preaching in opposition to vote-buying and monetization of politics, calling on politicians to desist from such acts.
