The Financial and Monetary Crimes Commissiom (EFCC) Saturday arrested 65 individuals in 28 states over alleged voter inducement through the governorship and Homes of Meeting elections.
That is contained in an announcement issued by its spokesman, Mr Wilson Uwujiaren.
Uwujiaren said that 20 of the suspects have been arrested in Kwara, whereas 13 suspects have been arrested in Kaduna State.
He added that 12 suspects have been arrested in Rivers; 4 suspects every have been arrested in Akwa Ibom and Cross River, whereas others have been arrested in Gombe, Sokoto, Kebbi and Niger States.
“These arrested in Kaduna State have been 10 males and three females. They have been apprehended by EFCC operatives both engaged on intelligence experiences or have been chanced upon throughout monitoring.
“A suspect allegedly concerned in vote shopping for was nabbed at Faculty Street, Unguwan Rimi in Kaduna. The suspect, who initially resisted arrest, is nevertheless in custody pending the conclusion of investigation.
