The Lagos State Authorities says rehabilitation work can be carried out on the Third Mainland Bridge on Sunday, April 2 to restore unhealthy sections of the highway.
The state Commissioner for Transportation, Dr. Frederic Oladeinde, stated this in a press release on Saturday, April 1.
The commissioner disclosed site visitors diversion plans for the rehabilitation course of will occur between 9 am and 4 pm.
Oladeinde defined that site visitors can be diverted from one lane to a different lane on the recognized failed asphaltic sections on the bridge.
He assured Lagosians that the Lagos State Visitors Administration Authority (LASTMA) would direct site visitors to ameliorate the inconveniences.
