EFCC nabs cleric, twin brothers, 25 others for alleged yahoo enterprise in Ilorin

Operatives of the Ilorin Zonal Command of the Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee, EFCC, on Thursday, March 23, 2023 arrested 28 individuals suspected to be “Yahoo-Yahoo Boys” in Ilorin, Kwara State.

An announcement launched by the antigraft company says the arrest, which was effected at Mandate Space, Ilorin adopted actionable intelligence on the actions of fraudsters working within the space.

‘’Preliminary investigation revealed the id of the arrested suspects to incorporate a cleric, twin brothers, 6 college students of varied establishments, and mining operator, amongst others.\’\’the fee says

Amongst the suspects arrested embrace Toheeb Albarka, cleric; Lambe Kehinde and Lambe Taye, twin brothers; Francis Stephen, Olabode Yusuf and Musbaudeen Akorede who commerce in canine promoting respectively; Moshood Okunola, Kayode Aderemi, Ayobami Olorunfemi, Paul Ayomide, Agboola Marvellous and Adebisi Olatunde, who\’re all undergraduates.

The suspects additionally embrace Olaleye Solomon, Miner; Akinade Samuel, Laptop Technician; Damilola Shagaya, Actual Property Developer; Muhammed Awal, Graphic Designer; Adam Mubarak, Anti-Cash Laundering Analyst; Ogundiran Nathaniel, Tiler; Jamiu Ishola, Printer; Dauda Tunde, Plumber; Abdullahi Sikiru, Guess 9ja Agent; Kasali Afeez Adegoke, Internet Developer; Jordan Adeyinka, Wears/Shoe Supplier and a driver, Ojeniyi Boluwatife.

Others are Adedamola Samson, Olarewaju Adisa Taofeek, Adewale Oloro and Omogbolahan Ibrahim.

Objects recovered from the suspects embrace ten unique automobiles, completely different manufacturers of laptops,  cell telephones and printer, amongst others.

The suspects could be arraigned in courtroom upon the conclusion of the continuing investigations.
